With the theme “Flood Resilient Cites: Adapting to Climate Change”, this two-day Summit will gather governments, cities and industry to share experiences on how cities can adapt to climate change and build greater resilience to floods and extreme weather events. Join more than 100 senior city leaders at the event and learn about the strategies and solutions that are being implemented in major cities in Asia and around the world.

41st IAHR World Congress (IAHR2025) | 22-27 June 2025 | Singapore EXPO

With the theme “Innovative Water Engineering for Sustainable Development”, IAHR2025 will focus on four key thematic areas – (a) Climate Change Adaption and Mitigation, (b) Improving Resilience against Water Hazards and Natural Disasters, (c) Water for Energy Transition, Food Security and Nature, and (d) Digital Transformation. The biennial World Congress of IAHR is expected to attract 1,500 water and climate experts, researchers and professionals to address the multi-faceted challenges posed by the dynamic intersection of water resources management, climate change adaptation, and intricate interplay between water, energy, food security and nature.

[Extended deadline: 30 November 2024] Call for Abstracts for the 41st IAHR World Congress
The deadline for abstract submissions for the 41st IAHR World Congress has been extended to 30 November 2024.
This call for abstracts is around two main sub-themes, together with the relevant sub-topics:
- Sub-Theme A: Water Engineering and Technological Innovations
- A.1 Climate Change Mitigation
- A.2 Improving Resilience against Water Hazards and Natural Disasters
- A.3 Water Engineering and Society
- A.4 Water Engineering for Energy Transition and Food Security
- A.5 Digital Transformation
- A.6 Experimental and Field Methods
- Sub-Theme B: Water Engineering and Socio-Economic Considerations
- B.1 Climate Change Adaptation
- B.2 Water and Nature
- B.3 Hydro-Environment Engineering Culture
Submission of proposals for workshops, masterclasses and special sessions have also been extended to the same deadline.
This will be the second and final extension. Do not miss the opportunity to present your work to 1,500 water and climate experts and professionals who will be attending IAHR2025 and SIWW Spotlight 2025.
